Meredith has chosen Skinny Boys - Skinny (They Can't Get Enough) as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meredith fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Immanuel connects with the punch.

Immanuel throws a big counter combination but Meredith scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Immanuel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Meredith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
