PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Eye (ranked 5588 p4p, 4025 weight class) and Badri Bolkvadze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolkvadze tries to clinch
and Eye counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Eye gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Eye is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
A frustrated look appears on Eye's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Bolkvadze breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Eye stuns Bolkvadze with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bolkvadze is looking to clinch but Eye is avoiding it.
Eye lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bolkvadze backs up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A bone on bone clash there as Bolkvadze blocks the leg kick.

Bolkvadze scores with a head kick. Eye tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Hulk Eye is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Eye walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bolkvadze checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bolkvadze shoots in for a takedown but Eye shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Eye lands with a hook. Bolkvadze tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Eye throws the kick towards the body but Bolkvadze avoids it.
Bolkvadze is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Eye scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Eye connects with a single shot there.
Eye connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bolkvadze. Bolkvadze circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Bolkvadze is rocked!
Eye Throws a clean left jab. Eye Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Bolkvadze's chin! Bolkvadze crumbles to the ground and Eye follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Eye!
