Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Son fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hill sprawls well initially but Son persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hill tries to roll over but Son keeps him under control.
Hill moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Hill manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Son manages to get himself to full guard.

My spies in 3Band MMA inform me that Hill has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Hill stands and throws Son's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hill wants to lay and pray for a moment but Son keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hill working the strikes but Son uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hill looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Son is in trouble now - Hill has advanced to mount!
Son can't escape the position.
Son is working hard here to advance position.
You get the feeling that Son really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Hill lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hill looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Hill loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Son scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hill land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hill stands and salutes the crowd.
