Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nero La Croix (ranked 17800 p4p, 21944 weight class) and Dru Quick (ranked 549 p4p, 531 weight class). La Croix comes to the ring accompanied by Ca Plane Pour Moi. Quick has chosen Gangster's Paradise- Coolio as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
La Croix clinches up against the ropes.
Quick tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
La Croix escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nero La Croix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quick connects with a leg kick.
La Croix clinches with his opponent.
Quick tries to land a knee to the head but La Croix blocks with his arms.
La Croix breaks the clinch.
La Croix forces Quick back against the ropes and clinches.
La Croix pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
La Croix with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Quick to score with a decent uppercut.
La Croix uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Quick.

La Croix tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Quick manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
La Croix moves into range and clinches up with Quick.
We've been informed that Quick has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Quick only half commits to the counter leg kick.

and as La Croix looks to reset his feet, Quick counters with a string of precision punches, right on the button, sending La Croix crashing to the canvas! La Croix is in big trouble here! The referee has started the count but La Croix is so wobbly that the ref has given up the count at 6 - he's called the bout off! Quick is your winner!
