Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danielos Tiger (ranked 23830 p4p, 3128 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ceremony. Danielos Tiger could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick Diaz's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Danielos Tiger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz darts in looking for a takedown but Tiger gets double underhooks and turns Diaz into the cage.
Tiger is looking for a counter combo.

Diaz looking to score a takedown here. Tiger is defending well but Diaz drives through and ends up in Tiger's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Diaz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tiger is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Diaz, into his guard.

Diaz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tiger defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tiger drops back looking for a leg! Diaz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diaz manages to kick Tiger off! Tiger jumps back into Diaz's guard.
Diaz looking to control but Tiger passes into half guard.

Tiger content to control rather than advance.
Diaz is looking to improve his position.
Diaz is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Tiger jumps into side control!
Diaz wants to control but Tiger postures up.
Tiger cracks Diaz with a big right hand but Diaz just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Diaz can't do much from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Tiger is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tiger tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Tiger postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Diaz looks a forlorn figure.

It looks like Nick Diaz has been cut.
Diaz is working to get back to half guard.
Diaz tries to hold on but Tiger pushes him away.
Diaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tiger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Diaz is arching his back trying to strike from the bottom but Tiger turns him over and now has his back.
Will Tiger go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Diaz takes a big shot to the side of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tiger controls the action.
Tiger is breathing heavily.
Tiger keeps control of the position as Diaz tries to break free.

Tiger tightening his grip on Diaz, looking for the choke.
Diaz trying to control the hands but Tiger won't let him.
You can see the frustration on Diaz's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tiger is not going to allow Diaz to sit and survive in this position.

Diaz defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Tiger not allowing Diaz to control his hands.
Diaz tries to escape but Tiger has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Tiger is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Diaz is defending well though. Tiger let's go of the attempt for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Diaz rolls, trying to escape but Tiger keeps control of the position.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Tiger gets caught napping as Diaz dives in and scores a takedown. Tiger manages to retain guard.
Diaz trying to control but Tiger is working from the bottom.
Tiger preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Diaz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Tiger keeping full guard, as Diaz tries to pass.

Tiger is trying to control the position but Diaz postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diaz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tiger is on top in guard.

Tiger is looking to take a break and control but Diaz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tiger looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tiger passes to full mount!
Diaz is trying to escape the mount.

Tiger blocks Diaz's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Diaz keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Tiger manages to capitalize on a mistake by Diaz to take his back!
Tiger is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Tiger is punishing Diaz with strikes - can he finish him?!

Tiger sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Diaz taps out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Danielos Tiger!
