Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tali Ihantala (ranked 13 p4p, 58 weight class) and Jim Bob McDonald (ranked 1 p4p, 2 weight class). McDonald has chosen Ray Wylie Hubbard - Redneck Mother as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ihantala throws a quick head kick that skims the top of McDonald's head.
Ihantala misses with an uppercut.
Ihantala with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McDonald to score with a decent uppercut.
Ihantala defending well as McDonald loads up on a big left hand.
Ihantala lands with a nice body punch.
McDonald falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ihantala counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ihantala works McDonald's body with a nice hook.
Ihantala walks into a stiff left hand from McDonald.
McDonald missing with a left hand there. Ihantala was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ihantala is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
McDonald takes a jab right on the kisser.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McDonald looks to clinch
and Ihantala counters with a head kick that drops McDonald to the mat! McDonald scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Ihantala throws a sloppy head kick and McDonald moves out of range easily.
Ihantala jabs at McDonald's body.
Ihantala connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
McDonald throws a predictable looking body shot
and Ihantala counters with a huge left! McDonald is in big trouble! He's backing up but Ihantala isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save McDonald from any more damage. A dominating finish by Ihantala!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tali Ihantala!

Jim Bob McDonald spoke after the fight, saying 'A country boy can survive'.
