Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tater Salad (ranked 2667 p4p, 2402 weight class) and Asher Cohen (ranked 363 p4p, 334 weight class). Tater Salad has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tater Salad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Asher Cohen!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Franklyn Lucas and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohen thuds his right hand into Salad's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Cohen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A shot to the liver by Cohen. Beautiful body shot.
Cohen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Cohen lunges at Salad with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Salad's hand.
Good exchange - Cohen coming out on top.
Salad closes the distance and clinches up with Cohen, looking for a takedown. Salad pushes Cohen against the cage but Cohen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Salad shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cohen counters with a stiff right hand.
Salad definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Salad has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Salad on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Good standup being displayed there by Cohen as he connects with a hook.
Salad takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Cohen thuds a left hand into Salad's body.
Salad closes the distance and clinches up with Cohen, looking for a takedown. Salad pushes Cohen against the cage but Cohen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tater Salad. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cohen leaves Salad with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cohen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cohen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Salad. Salad circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Cohen throws a shot to the body.
Cohen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Salads jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Salad takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Cohen lands with a hook. Salad tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nice sprawl there from Cohen as Salad shoots in.
Cohen doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Salad is breathing heavily.
A nice combination there by Cohen.
Salad is rocked!
Salad tries to clinch but Cohen is having none of it.
Cohen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Oh Salad is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cohen cracks Salad with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Salad seems to have got his legs back now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cohen sends Salad crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Cohen is motioning to the referee to let Salad up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

A nice leg kick lands there from Cohen.
Cohen scores with a shot to the body.
Salad throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cohen's waist but Cohen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salad off to one side.
Cohen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cohen lands with a nice combination. Salad backs away looking to recover.
Cohen connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Cohen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Salad sprawling to the canvas! Salad rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cohen finish him?!
Cohen is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Salad had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Cohen fakes the body blow, causing Salad to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Salad goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
