Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beau Canada!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorsby takes one to the chin there.
Thorsby lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Canada backs up against the cage.
Canada fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thorsby looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Canada throws a lazy uppercut
and Thorsby counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Thorsby tries to bum rush Canada with a series of wild strikes but Canada uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Thorsby throws out a powerful jab.

Thorsby gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Canada blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Canada blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
I was talking to Thorsby's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Canada lands with a left to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A right hook to the body lands for Canada.
Canada lands a body punch in the clinch.
Canada stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Canada working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Canada goes for a takedown attempt but Thorsby pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Canada lands a front kick.
We've been informed that Canada has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Thorsby is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Canada throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Canada bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Canada scores with a spinning back kick!
Canada goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Thorsby misses its target.
Thorsby takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Thorsby moves forwards but Canada connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Thorsby gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Canada to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Thorsby is looking to stand back up but Canada counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Thorsby.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Thorsby has hold of Canada's hands but Canada slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Thorsby on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Thorsby is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Canada lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Thorsby! More strikes land and this one is all over! Canada jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
