Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Denis Denisov (ranked 2684 p4p, 2450 weight class) and Akhmed Dudayev (ranked 329 p4p, 310 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Dudayev felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Denisov thowing shots but they're missing.
Dudayev avoids a strike by Denisov and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Denisov's guard! Fantastic escape!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dudayev looks to land a left hand but Denisov moved out of range nicely.
Dudayev feints and then cracks Denisov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Denisov down.

Denisov seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Akhmed Dudayev is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dudayev fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Denisov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Well Dudayev has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
