Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chabuk Al Zubairi (ranked 4295 p4p, 4513 weight class) and Lachlan Doig (ranked 422 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doig shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Al Zubairi as he jumps to the side.
Doig is trying hard to land a takedown here. Al Zubairi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Doig lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Al Zubairi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Al Zubairi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Al Zubairi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Doig has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Some bone on bone action there as Doig checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Doig takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Al Zubairi connects with a solid leg kick.
Doig avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Doig with the counter takedown but Al Zubairi avoids it easily.
Al Zubairi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Doig sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Al Zubairi somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Al Zubairi shoots in looking for a takedown but Doig manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Al Zubairi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
As Al Zubairi backs off Doig throws a huge counter combo but Al Zubairi manages to avoid it all.
Chabuk Al Zubairi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Doig lunges at Al Zubairi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Al Zubairi's hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Doig shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Al Zubairi but Al Zubairi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
