Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Pardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scaredy McScared (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pardo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Don't Stop Believing. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Pardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scaredy McScared!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pardo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Pardo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
McScared wants to get back to his feet but Pardo drags him back down.
Pardo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McScared knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on McScared's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pardo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

McScared explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
No joy there for Pardo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McScared changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Pardo is breathing heavily.
Pardo looks for a takedown but McScared sprawls well.
Pardo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McScared.
Pardo throws a solid leg kick but McScared takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pardo.
McScared avoids the head kick by Pardo.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by McScared!
McScared fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pardo sprawls well initially but McScared persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
McScared is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McScared in particular looking to stall.
Pardo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McScared escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pardo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McScared is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Pardo breaks from McScared's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Pardo fails to move to back control.
Pardo looking for a guillotine from mount but McScared is having none of it.
Pardo has control of McScared's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and McScared regains control of the situation pretty easily.
McScared avoids a series of strikes thrown by Pardo.

Pardo mounts McScared! Really nice guard pass there!
Pardo throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! McScared has his hands clasped together but Pardo breaks the hold and McScared is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Pardo!
