Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Auric Gallahad (ranked 2285 p4p, 5620 weight class) and Mikey Poundstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gallahad comes to the cage accompanied by Go to War. Mikey Poundstone told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poundstone decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Poundstone is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Gallahad actively working from the bottom here.
Poundstone throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Poundstone is looking to take a break and control but Gallahad is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Poundstone is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Poundstone misses with a head shot. Gallahad uses the momentum to regain guard.

Gallahad escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Poundstone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gallahad working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Poundstone has passed into half guard!

Gallahad looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Poundstone is defending well. Gallahad quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Poundstone has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gallahad celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Auric Gallahad decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
