Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Bean (ranked 4383 p4p, 2716 weight class) and Taisto Thai (ranked 483 p4p, 349 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Taisto Thai!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean tries to clinch but Thai moves out of range.

Bean moves into range and clinches up with Thai.
Thai tries a knee to the head but Bean blocks it.
Thai is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Bean has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Thai is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Bean ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bean no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Bean has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bean has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Thai after a bit of a struggle.

A jab from Thai finds it's way through Bean's defenses.
Bean doesn't manage to clinch there - Thai circles away.
Mr Bean is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bean has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
