Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Lester Neich (ranked 2456 p4p, 22291 weight class) and Farto Fuerte (ranked 237 p4p, 395 weight class). Neich's entrance music is YKWIM? - Yot club. A fine choice. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lester Neich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Farto Fuerte!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuerte moves away from the strike by Neich.
A swing and a miss from Neich.
Fuerte let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Neich throws the left hand but Fuerte avoids the punch easily.
Fuerte is looking for the big counter here.
Fuerte takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Neich lands with a shot to the body.
Fuerte walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Neich thows a left - swing and a miss!
Neich throws a lazy right hand but Fuerte sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A right-left combo lands from Neich.
Neich cracks Fuerte with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Neich swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fuerte.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Neich throws an overhand right that lands on Fuerte's shoulder, as Fuerte tries to avoid the shot.
Fuerte lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Neich looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Neich scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fuerte ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A shot to the liver by Neich. Beautiful body shot.
Neich misses with an uppercut.
Fuerte is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Neich uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fuerte has time to react.
Fuerte uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Neich.
Neich throws a left and a right that both miss
and whilst Neich still has his hands down, Fuerte counters with a perfectly aimed head kick that sends Neich crashing to the mat! Will he recover? 3,4,5,6,7 - he's back up! The referee looks into his eyes and asks him to walk forwards. He's going to allow this one to continue but will Neich be able to survive another onslaught?

Neich throws a poor cross that misses
and Fuerte counters with a beautiful hook that drops Neich to the mat! Will Neich be able to recover his senses? The referee starts the count at 3 having sent Fuerte to a neutral corner. 4,5,6 and Neich is up. He looks OK to continue.
Neich is rocked!
It looks like Lester Neich has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Neich pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Oh Neich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Neich looks to land a left hand but Fuerte moved out of range nicely.

and Fuerte counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Fuerte doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Neich throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fuerte stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Neich fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Neich seems to have got his legs back now.
Fuerte defending well as Neich loads up on a big left hand.
A nice side step and Fuerte releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Neich throws a combination that misses
and Fuerte counters with a nice low kick that buckles Neich's knee momentarily.
Fuerte has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Fuerte bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Neich throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
As Neich backs off Fuerte throws a huge counter combo but Neich manages to avoid it all.

Fuerte appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Neich cracks Fuerte with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Neich connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fuerte momentarily.
Fuerte moves out of range of the strikes.
Fuerte lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Neich misses with a left hand
and Fuerte counters with a massive combo! Right, left, right! Neich goes down! He's out cold! The referee doesn't need to count him out here - this one was over before Neich hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Farto Fuerte!
Farto Fuerte really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Warrior's Way logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
