Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edmond Chabazian (ranked 2666 p4p, 3293 weight class) and Adam Lenz (ranked 344 p4p, 403 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edmond Chabazian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adam Lenz!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chabazian throws a body shot but no joy.

Lenz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Chabazian regains full guard. Nicely done.
Chabazian lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chabazian seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lenz for as long as he can get away with.
Lenz tries to get to full guard but Chabazian has control of the leg.
Chabazian is taking a breather. Lenz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Chabazian has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Chabazian wants to pass to mount but Lenz is defending the position.
Chabazian is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Lenz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chabazian is on top in guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Edmond Chabazian will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Edmond Chabazian.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chabazian, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
