The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ideaale dives in and grabs Lyashenko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lyashenko pushes down on Ideaale's head and hops out.
Lyashenko takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ideaale displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lyashenko throws out the jab.
Ideaale takes a swing at Lyashenko's ribcage but misses.
Ideaale's coach down at AU's gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ideaale's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Ideaale shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ideaale was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lyashenko is in a horrible position here. Ideaale smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Ideaale has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Lyashenko is in real trouble here. Ideaale gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Lyashenko is tapping out! Ideaale wins by rear naked choke!
