Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rashidi Atkins (ranked 5309 p4p, 3057 weight class) and Edmond Chabazian (ranked 0 p4p, 386 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rashidi Atkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edmond Chabazian!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Atkins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Chabazian is trying to defend but Atkins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Chabazian is looking to improve his position.
Atkins is trying to control the action in half guard but Chabazian is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Atkins prevents Chabazian from improving his position.
Chabazian slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chabazian is on top in guard.

Chabazian is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Atkins doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chabazian.

Chabazian is pulling down on Atkins's head. It's preventing any offense from Atkins, at least for the moment.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Chabazian changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Atkins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Atkins takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

A close second round but Edmond Chabazian will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Chabazian changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Atkins tries to avoid it but Chabazian manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Atkins to the ground. Atkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Edmond Chabazian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
