Falcon comes to the cage accompanied by O Retrô Ativo - Heróis do Status Quo. Averescu is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcon lands a jab to Averescu's midsection.
Averescu misses with a straight right.
Averescu pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Falcon appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

and Falcon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Falcon.
Falcon is working Averescu over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Falcon postures up in Averescu's guard and throws a big left but Averescu blocks it.
Averescu wants to stand but Falcon is controlling the position.

Dan Averescu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Falcon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Averescu takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Averescu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Falcon to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Averescu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Falcon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
