The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Snowstrinski goes for a double leg but Spanks avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Spanks continues to drive forward.
Spanks changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Snowstrinski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Spanks (4) vs (0) Snowstrinski

Snowstrinski stops Spanks from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snowstrinski is wriggling around trying to escape.
Snowstrinski sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
