Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Blank (ranked 853 p4p, 1570 weight class) and Peoples Champion (ranked 121 p4p, 201 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Champion's choice of entrance music: Aegukka. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Champion lands a nice hook to Blank's body. Blank takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Champion lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Champion uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Blank.

Blank slips a straight right by Champion.
Blank was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
We've been hearing reports that Blank has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Champion throws an overhand right that lands on Blank's shoulder, as Blank tries to avoid the shot.
Blank throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Champion.
Blank rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Champion moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Champion drops Blank with a right and a left! Champion comes rushing in but Blank regains his composure and manages to keep Champion in guard.

Champion slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Champion takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Champion is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Champion tries to land a front kick but Blank steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A quick step to the side and Blank tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Champion throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Blank looks to land a left hand but Champion moved out of range nicely.
Champion loads up on a big right hand but Blank slips the punch.
Blank goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Blank really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Blank is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Blank is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
