The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choke moves out of range as Lomax strikes.
Choke with the counter takedown but Lomax avoids it easily.

Lomax clinches with his opponent.
Our sources have told us that Lomax has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Choke has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lomax regains guard immediately.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Choke postures up in Lomax's guard and throws a big left but Lomax blocks it.
Lomax is controlling Choke's posture.
Choke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lomax swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lomax working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Choke.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Choke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Choke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lomax is looking to control Choke's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lomax avoid being mounted?

Choke maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lomax could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Choke has cracked it and Lomax is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Choke!
