Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Steel (ranked 2569 p4p, 1926 weight class) and Raykuza Maui (ranked 121 p4p, 94 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerome Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raykuza Maui!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maui forces Steel back against the cage and clinches.
Maui misses with a short punch on the inside.
Steel misses with a punch on the inside.
Maui lands with a short head shot on the inside.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Steel.
Steel misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Maui swings wildly with an uppercut but Steel uses good head movement to avoid it.

Steel decides to pull guard.
Steel tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Steel is working hard here to advance position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maui postures up.
Steel seems keen to control Maui's posture.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Maui trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Steel is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maui is trying to stand back up but Steel is controlling him
Steel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Maui with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Maui is not content to let Steel control the position.

Steel wants to take a breather but Maui is having none of it.

Maui pushes Steel off looking to stand but Steel dives back in and keeps control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Steel is looking to take a break and control but Maui is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Maui is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Steel throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Maui works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Maui utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Steel works over Maui with some ground and pound from guard.
Steel missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Steel loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Steel is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jerome Steel dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

A punch lands to the side of Maui 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Raykuza Maui has been cut.
Steel throws a nice inside leg kick.
Steel lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Maui at a distance.
Steel jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Steel throws a big shot that misses.
Steel is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Maui can do to turn this around?

Steel knocks Maui to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Maui is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Steel lands a big left to the face of Maui, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Steel and another - Maui is out! Steel stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jerome Steel!
Jerome Steel seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Raykuza Maui stepped up to the mic, saying 'There's a reason this guy is a legend, shit like that. There's no shame in losing to that guy. I had fun, i'm sure he did too and so did the fans. I love y'all. I'll be back.'.
