Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kil Bon Hwa (ranked 233 p4p, 1148 weight class) and Stevo Caruga (ranked 40 p4p, 178 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kil Bon Hwa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stevo Caruga!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bon Hwa cracks Caruga with an open hand slap.
Bon Hwa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Caruga manages to avoid it.
Caruga dives in and grabs Bon Hwa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bon Hwa pushes down on Caruga's head and hops out.
Caruga ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bon Hwa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stevo Caruga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bon Hwa throws a shot from downtown. Caruga moves away and avoids it.
Caruga bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Caruga tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bon Hwa's legs.
Caruga is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bon Hwa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Caruga thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Caruga tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Caruga has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caruga is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bon Hwa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That was a close round but I would say that Kil Bon Hwa will probably get the nod.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Caruga dives in for a single leg takedown but Bon Hwa sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Bon Hwa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bon Hwa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Caruga gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bon Hwa.

Bon Hwa lands a big uppercut and Caruga crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Caruga looks OK. Bon Hwa waves Caruga back to his feet!
Caruga is rocked!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Caruga gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Bon Hwa points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Caruga wakes up just in time to hear Bon Hwa thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kil Bon Hwa!
After winning the bout, Kil Bon Hwa thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
