Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacky Chan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rashad Denson!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Denson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Denson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Chan fails to pull guard.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Denson as Chan tries to tie him up.

Chan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Chan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Denson keeps working.
Chan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Denson's head.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Denson clinches up with Chan and pushes him back against the cage.

Denson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Denson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Denson somewhat.

Chan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Denson throws a nice looking combination but Chan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Denson manages to break the clinch.
Chan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Denson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Denson tries for a takedown but Chan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Chan throws a head kick that misses.

Denson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Denson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chan tries to avoid it but Denson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chan to the ground. Chan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Denson. No joy for Chan on that attempt.

Chan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Denson's waist but Denson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chan off to one side.
Chan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Denson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Chan is pressed up against the cage. Denson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chan down to the mat. Chan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Denson works on Chan's body with a couple of short punches.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jacky Chan.
I think Denson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
