PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kai Rossiter (ranked 1776 p4p, 1983 weight class) and Ezekiel Broomsdale (ranked 235 p4p, 257 weight class). Broomsdale has chosen Masta as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Kai Rossiter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ezekiel Broomsdale!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broomsdale catches Rossiter with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Broomsdale forces Rossiter back against the cage and clinches.
Broomsdale pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

It looks like Kai Rossiter has been cut.

Broomsdale blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Broomsdale turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Broomsdale is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rossiter gets his way!

You can see the frustration on Broomsdale's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Broomsdale got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rossiter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Broomsdale has managed to get both his arms back between Rossiter's legs - danger averted.

It looks like Broomsdale might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kai Rossiter will probably get the nod.

Well Broomsdale has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
