The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stinforn throws a sloppy head kick and Legrand moves out of range easily.
Stinforn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Legrand.

It looks like Fernand Legrand has been cut.

and Stinforn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Tate Stinforn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernand Legrand.

Stinforn shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Legrand is trying to defend but Stinforn finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Stinforn closes the distance looking for a takedown. Legrand stuffs it but Stinforn still has hold of him. Stinforn picks Legrand up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Stinforn slams Legrand to the floor and that's really hurt Legrand - he doesn't know where he is! Stinforn throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
