Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 23839 p4p, 23844 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion blocks a head kick by Amiga.
Salvacion is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Salvacion.
And Amiga counters with a quick kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it.

Salvacion closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Amiga did well to prevent Salvacion getting side control.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Amiga in particular looking to stall.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Amiga feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
