Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chief Red Eagle (ranked 1465 p4p, 2185 weight class) and Lyle Alzado (ranked 65 p4p, 97 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Red Eagle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 39 - 1, fighting out of New York, Lyle Alzado!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red Eagle closes the distance and pushes Alzado back into the cage.
Red Eagle wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Red Eagle pushes Alzado back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Alzado tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Alzado throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Red Eagle blocks it with crossed arms.
Red Eagle breaks from the clinch.
Red Eagle gets a clinch.
Red Eagle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Red Eagle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Red Eagle rushes Alzado and presses him up against the cage.
Red Eagle is trying to break the clinch but Alzado has him pressed against the cage.
Red Eagle is leaning against Alzado and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Red Eagle breaks the clinch.
Alzado lands a jab to Red Eagle's midsection.
Red Eagle takes the fight into the clinch.
Alzado blocks the elbow strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alzado misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Red Eagle breaks the clinch.
Red Eagle moves in looking to clinch but Alzado pushes him off.
Red Eagle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alzado paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Alzado tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Red Eagle moves into the clinch.
Alzado blocks the elbow strike.

Red Eagle scores with a shot to the side of Alzado's head.

Red Eagle breaks the clinch.
Red Eagle lands a big uppercut and Alzado crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Alzado looks OK. Red Eagle waves Alzado back to his feet!
Alzado is rocked!
It looks like Lyle Alzado has been cut.
Red Eagle has taken the fight to the clinch.
Alzado is still on wobbly legs! Can Red Eagle finish him?

Red Eagle lands a body shot in the clinch.
Alzado looks winded!
Red Eagle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Alzado seems to have recovered his senses.
Alzado throws a lazy right hand but Red Eagle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Red Eagle closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Red Eagle creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Red Eagle breaks the clinch.
Red Eagle drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Alzado's head, knocking him out cold! Red Eagle is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chief Red Eagle!
Chief Red Eagle got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
