The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maciel throws a head kick that misses

and Rambone moves into the clinch.

Maciel tries to land a knee to the head but Rambone blocks with his arms.

Rambone has had enough of the clinch but Maciel keeps him there for the moment.
Rambone will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Maciel up against the cage.

Rambone sends Maciel crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rambone is motioning to the referee to let Maciel up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Maciel is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
BOOM! Rambone lands a beautiful left hook that drops Maciel. Maciel tries to recover but Rambone is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Maciel lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
