Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Masakazu Imanari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Light Yagami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Imanari's entrance music is I BRING YOU DOWN!. A fine choice. Light Yagami has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Imanari misses.
Imanari displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yagami.

Imanari lands with a nice combination. Yagami backs away looking to recover.

Yagami is rocked!
Yagami shoots for a takedown but Imanari saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Masakazu Imanari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Light Yagami.
Imanari rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yagami moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Yagami shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Yagami was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Imanari is looking to improve his position but Yagami isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Yagami is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Imanari has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Yagami is looking to defend but Imanari has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Yagami! Imanari pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Yagami taps out and this one is all over!
