Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kosami Akagawa (ranked 3663 p4p, 3837 weight class) and Benjy Button (ranked 448 p4p, 462 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjy Button!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Button lands a jab-cross combination.
Akagawa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Button swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Akagawa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Akagawa steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Button. That one must have hurt.
Akagawa is looking to clinch but Button is avoiding it.
Akagawa misses with a wild body shot.
Akagawa tries a head kick but it misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Akagawa.
Button has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Akagawa is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Button lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Kosami Akagawa has been cut.
Akagawa misses with a hook to the body
and Button makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Akagawa is looking to counter with head kicks.

Button gets a double leg takedown into Akagawa's guard.

Button stands up and waves to Akagawa to follow him.
Akagawa takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Button counters with a series of strikes. Akagawa will be more careful next time no doubt.

Akagawa throws a low kick but Button moves out of range easily.
Akagawa motions for Button to come forward. Akagawa throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Button avoids the head kick by Akagawa.
Button takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Akagawa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Button. Akagawa does a little dance to reset his feet.

Akagawa moves in looking to clinch but Button pushes him off.
Akagawa throws a wild body kick that Button sees coming a mile off.
Button closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Button thuds a left hand into Akagawa's body.
Button lands a jab-cross combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Button closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Button in side control lands a decent elbow.
Button looks up at the clock and then as Akagawa takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Button smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Akagawa is looking to regain half guard here but Button keeps moving and retains side control.

Button decides to stand back up.
Akagawa throws a sloppy head kick and Button moves out of range easily.
Button unleashes a big counter combination but Akagawa bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Button drives through with a takedown into guard.
Button trying to control but Akagawa is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Button gets to his feet - Akagawa follows without any prompting.
A combination from Button does no damage.
Button throws a nice head kick!
Akagawa looks for the body kick but Button saw that one coming.
Button throws a counter combo.

Button clinches up against the cage.
Akagawa lands a knee to the body.

Button tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Button jumps guard.
Akagawa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Button manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Akagawa manages to get himself to full guard.

Button decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Akagawa misses with a low kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Button. That's going to slow Akagawa down.
Akagawa moves to clinch but Button breaks away
and Akagawa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Akagawa tries to keep at a distance but Button has taken the fight into the clinch.
Akagawa is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Button is defending well for now.
Button lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Button escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Akagawa takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Button closes the distance and clinches.
Button looking to throw knees to the head but Akagawa is blocking nicely.
Akagawa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Button has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Akagawa clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Button is cranking Akagawa's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Akagawa! He's tightened the choke and Akagawa is tapping out!
