PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shashlyk Lykmekov (ranked 4258 p4p, 24257 weight class) and Oki Zuki (ranked 174 p4p, 216 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lykmekov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Zuki closes the distance and pushes Lykmekov back into the cage.

Zuki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lykmekov tries to counter by clinching up but Zuki breaks away and moves out of range.

Lykmekov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zuki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lykmekov has managed to get both his arms back between Zuki 's legs - danger averted.

Zuki is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lykmekov defends well.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Zuki is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Lykmekov presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Zuki is on top in guard.

Lykmekov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Oki Zuki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Zuki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
