Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miles Knox (ranked 23220 p4p, 2735 weight class) and Nigel Benn Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knox comes to the cage accompanied by Tarzan Boy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miles Knox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 33 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nigel Benn Jr!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Knox is defended easily by Benn Jr.
Miles Knox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knox throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Benn Jr's waist but Benn Jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Knox off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miles Knox. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Knox shoots in but no luck this time.
Benn Jr lands a two punch combo.
Knox bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Benn Jr bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Benn Jr slaps away a takedown attempt from Knox, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Benn Jr! But no joy.
Benn Jr scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Knox has his takedown stuffed
and Knox takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Benn Jr throws a hook but Knox blocks it.
Knox shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Benn Jr pinned against the cage. Benn Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Knox tries to score a power double leg takedown but Benn Jr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Knox somewhat.

Nigel Benn Jr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Benn Jr plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Knox swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Knox face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
