Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frito Lei (ranked 6013 p4p, 22421 weight class) and Sky Genie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frito Lei looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei misses with a kick to the body.
It seemed like Genie was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Lei looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Lei tries to keep at a distance but Genie has taken the fight into the clinch.

Genie manages to break the clinch.

Genie forces Lei back against the cage and clinches.

Genie breaks from the clinch.

Sky Genie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Genie moves into range and clinches up with Lei.
Genie lands a hook that snaps the head of Lei backwards.
Genie lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Genie as Lei tries to tie him up.
A nice right hand lands inside from Genie.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Genie lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Genie makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Lei is rocked!

Genie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oh Lei is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Genie gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Genie creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Lei's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Lei drops to his knees and Genie pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
