Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pull Plugger (ranked 3573 p4p, 5070 weight class) and Rocco Damato (ranked 330 p4p, 388 weight class). Damato has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Pull Plugger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rocco Damato!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damato is looking to clinch.
Plugger tries to counter with a takedown but Damato is quick to defend against it.
Plugger comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Damato closes the distance and clinches.
Damato is pressed up against the cage. Plugger has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Damato down to the mat. Damato avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Damato looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Plugger ducks under a wild hook from Damato.
Plugger looks to score with a jab to the body but Damato is just out of range.
Plugger jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Damato shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Plugger napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Plugger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Damato works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Our spies down at at Tappelukerho inform us that Damato has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Plugger looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Plugger can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Damato is looking to escape.
Plugger goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Damato turns into him and now he's in Plugger's guard.
Damato with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Plugger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Damato doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Damato manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pull Plugger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Plugger tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Plugger has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Plugger is looking to take a break and control but Damato is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Damato seems a little lost for a moment, as Plugger dominates the positioning.

Plugger remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Plugger feints and as Damato raises his hands in defense, Plugger changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Damato has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Plugger is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Plugger's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Plugger has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Damato clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Plugger is persistently looking for the submission but Damato is defending it well.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Plugger controlling the positon.
Plugger throws a series of strikes and Damato wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here.
Damato is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Plugger goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Damato turns into him and now he's in Plugger's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Damato accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Plugger has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Damato seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Plugger does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Rocco Damato comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Damato has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
