Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Enter Sandman. Gerald Henderson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dan Quinn's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson swats away the attempt to clinch by Quinn.
Henderson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Quinn sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Henderson throws a series of punches but Quinn moves out of range.
Quinn misses with a few strikes there.
Horrible takedown by Quinn or perhaps it was just good defense by Henderson which made him look bad.

Henderson pushes Quinn up against the cage in a clinch.
Quinn is stalling here.
Quinn scores a nice knee to the body.

Quinn jumps guard and drags Henderson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Henderson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Quinn is proving hard to escape from.

Quinn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Henderson did well to prevent Quinn getting side control.

Quinn ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Quinn no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Quinn wants to sweep but no luck.

Quinn is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Henderson is aware though and is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Quinn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Henderson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Henderson gets to his feet. Quinn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Quinn counters with a right hand to the body.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Henderson.
Quinn is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Quinn is trying to control Henderson's posture but Henderson avoids it.
Quinn is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Henderson decides to stand back up.

Henderson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Quinn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Henderson fails to land the takedown.
Quinn lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
No luck for Quinn with that takedown attempt.

Henderson clinches up against the cage.
Henderson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Quinn backwards.
Quinn jumps guard but Henderson stands there with Quinn around his waist. Quinn gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Quinn. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Quinn has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Henderson uses from the top position.

Henderson stands and steps away. Quinn gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Quinn counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Henderson's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Quinn controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Quinn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Henderson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dan Quinn will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Henderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Quinn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Quinn seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Henderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Quinn tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Henderson just stands there and leans against the cage.

Henderson is trying to force a seperation but Quinn has the dominant position.

Henderson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Henderson is refusing to be controlled, as Quinn sits in half guard.

Quinn seems to be working for a kimura but Henderson defends the submission attempt.
Quinn wants to pass the guard but Henderson is defending well.

Henderson scrambles and gets back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Henderson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Quinn gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Quinn unloads a knee to the mid-section. Henderson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Quinn's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Henderson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Henderson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Quinn has managed to clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Quinn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Henderson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Quinn changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Henderson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Dan Quinn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dan Quinn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Quinn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
