The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Sherk is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Sherk uses his free foot to push down on Bandini's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bandini.

Bandini wants to control but Sherk is having none of it.

Bandini is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bandini is controlling an arm, preventing Sherk from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Bandini reaches up to try and control the position but Sherk seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Bandini rolls and tries to escape and now Sherk has his back!

Sherk is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bandini is defending well though. Sherk let's go of the attempt for now.

Sherk has the hooks in. Bandini is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Sherk passes his arm under Bandini's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Bandini taps!
