The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Slinger with that takedown attempt.
Yabai comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Yabai had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Slinger defends it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Slinger is posturing up here but Yabai has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Slinger tries to roll out but it's too tight and Slinger has to tap! Slick submission there by Yabai!
