Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maxton Hefferman (ranked 3830 p4p, 3852 weight class) and Richard Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hefferman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to enemies. Dick has chosen AHHH HA as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Richard Dick!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hefferman tries for a takedown but Dick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hefferman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dick as he avoids it easily.
Dick fails with a takedown attempt.
Hefferman seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Dick dives in for a single leg takedown but Hefferman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Dick rushes Hefferman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hefferman stalls.
Hefferman is breathing heavily.
Dick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dick tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hefferman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dick somewhat.

Dick dives in and grabs Hefferman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hefferman pushes down on Dick's head and hops out.

Dick shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hefferman sprawls well. Hefferman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dick gets slowly back to his feet.

Well Hefferman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
