Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Amery (ranked 19280 p4p, 3079 weight class) and Sol Peters (ranked 505 p4p, 356 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Amery!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sol Peters!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amery misses with a looping right.
Peters shoots in but no luck this time.
The crowd cheers as Peters lands an impressive looking overhand right. Amery doesn't seem phased though.
Amery has closed the distance and engaged Peters in a clinch.
Amery tries for a takedown but Peters manages to get underhooks.
Peters has a couple of punches blocked by Amery.
A short left from Peters.
Amery fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Peters tries to work over Amery's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A short right from Peters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peters throws a punch but it's blocked by Amery.
Amery prevents a body shot from Peters.
A head punch on the inside from Peters fails to land.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Peters.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Peters misses with some punches.
Amery blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Peters gets through Amery's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Peters misses with a short punch on the inside.
Amery breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Amery swinging wildly here.
Amery throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sol Peters is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Amery fails with an attempt to clinch.
Amery has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Peters.
Amery misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Peters lands with a right hand.
Amery throws a series of punches but Peters moves out of range.
Peters feints a counter leg kick.
Amery lands with an uppercut that bounces Peters off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Sol Peters has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Peters uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Amery has time to react.
Peters blocks a head kick by Amery.
Amery throws a series of punches but Peters avoids them all with ease.
Peters looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Both fighters circling a little - Peters finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Amery takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Amery is breathing heavily.
Peters feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Amery sprawling to the canvas! Amery rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Peters finish him?!
Amery is rocked!
Amery is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Peters doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Amery crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Amery's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sol Peters!
Sol Peters spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
