Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Truman Wise (ranked 4216 p4p, 4128 weight class) and Carson Fairburn (ranked 512 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wise on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Fairburn fails with the takedown.

Fairburn closes the distance and clinches.

Truman Wise has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carson Fairburn.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wise is trying to drag Fairburn to the mat but Fairburn just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Truman Wise. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wise is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Fairburn is keeping busy.

Wise knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fairburn on the ground.

Wise is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Fairburn has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Wise is looking to defend but Fairburn has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Wise! Fairburn pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Wise taps out and this one is all over!
