Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liam Higgins (ranked 1515 p4p, 1780 weight class) and Joaquin Osuna (ranked 196 p4p, 226 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joaquin Osuna!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higgins pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A slow jab from Osuna misses its intended target.
An attempted straight right counter from Higgins misses the target.
Osuna looks to throw the jab but Higgins is out of range.
Osuna misses with a body shot.
Osuna lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Higgins tried to score with a low kick but Osuna checks it.

and Higgins scores with a counter punch that sends Osuna to the canvas! Higgins smells blood - he's punishing Osuna with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Osuna has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Joaquin Osuna was interviewed post fight and said ' Joaquin Osuna stubbed his toe getting out of the shower. After talking about his experience to an MMA radio show, the popular opinion is that he's a bit dim but in a loveable way.'.
