The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Zahedi coming out on top.
Zahedi misses with an uppercut. Hickok saw that one coming.
It looked like Hickok wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Zahedi lands with a shot to the body.
Zahedi misses with a looping right.
Hickok moves forwards but Zahedi connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like James Butler Hickok has been cut.
Zahedi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hickok moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zahedi lands a lovely overhand right.
Hickok avoids the body shot from Zahedi.

Hickok ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Zahedi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Zahedi takes a swing at Hickok's ribcage but misses.
Hickok appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Hickok takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Zahedi digs a good body shot into Hickok's ribs.
Zahedi is stalking Hickok. Hickok circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Zahedi, and it's lights out! Hickok really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
