The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mike misses with a body shot.
Matthews uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mike.
Mike moves out of range as Matthews strikes.
Mike misses with a shot to the body
and Matthews counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Mike ducks under a wild hook from Matthews.
The fighters circle momentarily. Matthews darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mike throws a right and a left that both miss.
Matthews throwing a counter right hand but Mike manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Matthews drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Mike right on the button. Mike goes down! Matthews follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Matthews gets the win via TKO!
