Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kovalevsky Petrov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sanjay Segreti!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Segreti with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Segreti has taken the fight to the clinch.
Petrov tries to pull guard but Segreti holds him up against the cage and eventually Petrov drops back down to his feet.

Segreti escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Segreti looks to land a combination. Petrov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Petrov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Petrov is looking for a triangle but Segreti pushes his legs off easily.

Segreti let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Segreti jabbing away but nothing is landing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Well Segreti has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
