Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Carter (ranked 3986 p4p, 2700 weight class) and Dan Miles (ranked 440 p4p, 316 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Miles's choice of entrance music: MGK-Till I Die. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Miles!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Miles has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We've been told by Carter's head coaches at Tappelukerho that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Miles misses with an uppercut. Carter saw that one coming.
A decent looking cross lands there for Carter.

It looks like Dan Miles has been cut.
Carter misses with a body kick.
Miles checks a leg kick.
Carter lands with a shot to the body.
Carter lands a front kick.
Carter turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The fighters circling - Miles throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Carter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Miles.
A punch combination from Carter misses.
Carter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Miles circles away quickly and effectively.
Miles looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Carter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Miles. That did some damage!
Carter throws a sloppy head kick and Miles moves out of range easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter connects with a body shot that sends Miles's belly button to the back.
Carter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miles moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Carter thumps Miles with a low kick.
Miles throws out a loose jab but Carter uses good head movement to avoid it.
Miles throws a hook but Carter blocks it.
Carter appears to be looking for a big counter.
Carter lands an overhand right.
Miles tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Carter defends well and Miles ends up having to push Carter into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Carter throws a low kick but Miles avoids it.
A big left from Miles misses.
Carter delivers a nice body kick.
Carter connects with a crisp jab.
Carter ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Carter cracks Miles with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Carter has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Miles to stand back up!

Miles is rocked!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miles stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Carter.
Miles moves out of range as Carter throws a body kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Miles! But no joy.
A swing and a miss from Miles.
Carter lands with a thumping leg kick.
Miles misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Miles misses with a looping left.
Miles throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Miles misses with a left hand
and Carter counters with a series of strikes. Miles will be more careful next time no doubt.
Miles is trying hard to land a takedown here. Carter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Miles walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Carter grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Miles takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Carter cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
