Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tayaen Porfirigo (ranked 3631 p4p, 5877 weight class) and Paul Herrera (ranked 460 p4p, 591 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tayaen Porfirigo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Herrera!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herrera tries to bum rush Porfirigo with a series of wild strikes but Porfirigo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Porfirigo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

It looks like Tayaen Porfirigo has been cut.
Come on Porfirigo - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Porfirigo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Herrera's efforts to push away.

Porfirigo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Herrera lands a two punch combo.

Porfirigo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Herrera sees it coming and defends easily.

Herrera wants to improve his position but Porfirigo is controlling well.

Porfirigo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Porfirigo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Herrera throws out a counter right but Porfirigo avoids it with no problem.
Porfirigo shoots in for a double leg but Herrera sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Herrera gets tackled into the cage by Porfirigo. Porfirigo maintains the clinch.

Porfirigo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Porfirigo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Herrera to the ground. Porfirigo is now in Herrera's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The crowd cheers as Herrera lands an impressive looking overhand right. Porfirigo doesn't seem phased though.

Herrera closes the distance and clinches up with Porfirigo, looking for a takedown. Herrera pushes Porfirigo against the cage but Porfirigo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Porfirigo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Herrera swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Herrera has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Porfirigo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Porfirigo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Herrera is looking to stand back up but Porfirigo counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Herrera.

Herrera tries for a takedown but Porfirigo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

We've been informed that Herrera has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Porfirigo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Herrera was covering up waiting for the punch and Porfirigo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Herrera feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Porfirigo slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Porfirigo has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Herrera is defending well but eventually Porfirigo manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Herrera has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
