Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Ryan (ranked 1808 p4p, 3139 weight class) and Burrito Supreme (ranked 233 p4p, 376 weight class). Eddie Ryan has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Ryan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 21 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Burrito Supreme!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan misses with a body shot.
Supreme pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ryan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Supreme throws a sloppy head kick and Ryan moves out of range easily.

Ryan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Supreme on his heels. He'll look to pass Supreme's guard now, I'm sure.
Ryan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Supreme trying to control the position.
Ryan sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Supreme wants to sweep here but Ryan controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Supreme has his hands on Ryan's head, controlling the position.
Ryan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Supreme is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Supreme not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ryan works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Supreme wants to get back to full guard.
Supreme trying to control but Ryan postures up.
Ryan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Supreme is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Supreme moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Supreme keeping full guard, as Ryan tries to pass.
Supreme is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Supreme wants to sweep but no luck.
Ryan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Ryan drops back looking for a leg! Supreme is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Supreme manages to kick Ryan off! Ryan jumps back into Supreme's guard.
Ryan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ryan throws a big right hand that misses.
Supreme is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ryan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Supreme can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ryan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Supreme really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ryan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Supreme trying to keep a closed guard but Ryan is proving a slippery customer.
Ryan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Supreme is controlling Ryan's posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Supreme throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
As Supreme looks to move away, Ryan throws a big counter combo but Supreme just gets out of the way.
Ryan misses with a hook.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Supreme! But no joy.
Supreme dives in for a single leg takedown but Ryan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Supreme is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
It looked like Ryan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
No luck for Ryan with that takedown attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ryan lands a glancing blow to the side of Supreme's head.
Ryan ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ryan lands with an overhand left.
Jab, jab by Ryan - just one landing.

Supreme is rocked!
Supreme pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ryan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Supreme is still on wobbly legs! Can Ryan finish him?
Supreme thows a left - swing and a miss!

Ryan looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Supreme working a defensive guard here.
Ryan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Eddie Ryan dominated that round.
That's time! Ryan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A head kick by Supreme misses
and Ryan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A low kick from Supreme misses
and Ryan scores with a counter punch that sends Supreme to the canvas! Ryan smells blood - he's punishing Supreme with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Supreme has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Ryan!
Eddie Ryan decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
