The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mint keeps the fight on the outside.
Mint gets tackled into the cage by Ledoux. Ledoux maintains the clinch.
Ledoux pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A low kick from Mint misses
and Ledoux counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Mint is controlling Ledoux's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Mint is pressing down on Ledoux's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Mint wants to sweep here but Ledoux controlling him for the moment.
Ledoux postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mint is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Ledoux has his hands clasped together but Mint extends and breaks Ledoux's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Mint.
