PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leevi Saros (ranked 2588 p4p, 1943 weight class) and Dag Schotel (ranked 338 p4p, 256 weight class). Saros comes to the cage accompanied by Marko Hietala - Stones. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leevi Saros!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dag Schotel!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schotel misses with an uppercut
and Saros connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
